Who it's for

You are running real money, and the numbers still feel cloudy.

The business works. Revenue is real. But the financial side feels reactive instead of clear, and decisions get made on instinct because the numbers are not there when you need them. If any of this sounds like you, you are exactly who we built this for.

You are profitable, but you could not say with confidence how profitable, or why.

Your books are usually a few weeks behind, so the picture is always slightly stale.

Cash flow surprises you more often than you would like to admit.

You make real decisions on instinct because the numbers are not in front of you.

You have an accountant or a bookkeeper, but no one who helps you actually read the story.

You want a partner who thinks like an owner, not a vendor who files paperwork.

This describes a wide range of owners. A wellness practice, a contractor, an agency, a nonprofit carrying real budgets. The industry matters less than the condition: profitable, busy, and ready to feel in control.

What we do

We make your finances something you can trust and act on.

Clean books are the foundation, not the product. The real work is turning that foundation into clarity you can use: a clear read on where you stand, what it means, and what to do next. Three things have to be true for that to happen.

01

Numbers you trust

Accurate, current books on QuickBooks Online, closed on a dependable monthly rhythm. The picture is always recent, so you are never deciding on stale or shaky data.

02

A picture you understand

Clear reporting that shows profitability, cash, and the few metrics that actually drive your business, explained in plain language rather than left as a spreadsheet to decode.

03

A partner who reads the story

A steady point of view on what the numbers mean and what to do about them, so you walk into every decision knowing where you stand and where you are headed.

Engagements

A clear path, whatever shape you are in today.

Most owners start with a free assessment, then step into ongoing work once we both see the fit. Pricing is shown up front so you can picture it before we ever talk.

About

An owner-level numbers mind, not a commodity bookkeeper.

Carson Accounting & Consulting is led by Troy Carson. The throughline of his career is sitting on the owner's side of the table and reading what the numbers really mean for the decisions ahead.

He started in strategy consulting at Deloitte, then spent years as a VP of Finance scaling a real estate portfolio, the kind of role where the financials are not a report you file but the instrument you steer by. He currently holds a consulting and CFO-style engagement, and partners with CPAs on tax so clients get a complete picture.

He is also a part owner of boutique hotel and hostel properties in Ghana and Senegal, which serve as a real-world lab for the same operating discipline he brings to clients: clean numbers, a clear picture, and decisions made with confidence.

That is the standard behind CAC. Not paperwork for its own sake, but the clarity an owner needs to run the business with a steady hand.
